As long as gifts are offered to employees for recurring events, you do not need to declare them on the salary certificate. The law also allows you to accumulate several gifts per employee each year, in accordance with numbers 2156, 2157 and 2158 of the “Directive on the determining salary in the AHV, IV and APG” of the Federal Social Insurance Office and Article 3 of the “Guide to the Preparation of the Salary Certificate” of the Federal Tax Administration.
